Takara Wiles and Chris Scavo have joined Passport For Good, a student engagement data solution company based in Troy. Wiles serves as the organization’s marketing manager and Scavo as product manager.
Wiles has nearly 15 years’ experience as a marketing and communications team leader with a record of managing and delivering creative communication solutions and marketing strategies. As part of the Passport For Good marketing team, she will help broaden brand awareness of the web and mobile platform across New York State.
Prior to joining Passport For Good, Wiles worked as director of marketing, creative director and project manager at various Capital Region agencies. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a secondary education certification and minor in public relations from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
Scavo has 20 years’ experience in marketing, account management, and product management with proven ability in establishing relationships and helping clients achieve their missions. He also has extensive experience in customer research and data analytics. At Passport For Good, Scavo is responsible for the platform’s features, including feature prioritization, backlog management, the product roadmap and for ensuring the product team has sufficient information to deliver product requests, provide competitive market analysis, and establish a process to foster new ideas on product growth.
Previously, Scavo was Product Manager at Higher Logic, a Digital Marketing Strategist at Informz, and a Senior Account Manager of Internet Services at Epsilon. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in management information systems from LeMoyne College.
